ABC/Randy HolmesTenacious D will hit the road this fall on their first tour in five years. The headlining outing begins November 3 in Brooklyn, New York, and will conclude November 13 in Chicago. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. local time via TenaciousD.com.
Prior to the headlining dates, the D will play Canada’s Montebello Rockfest in June, and Foo Fighters‘ Cal Jam festival in October.
Along with going on tour, Jack Black and Kyle Gass are also working on a new Tenacious D album, which they say will “probably” be released this year. The record will be the follow-up to the duo’s 2012 effort, Rise of the Fenix.
Additionally, a sequel to the D’s 2006 movie The Pick of Destiny is also in the works.
