Frontman M. Shadows revealed the news in an interview with the print edition of Kerrang!, which was posted as a screenshot to Twitter. The four-song EP includes the previous three Black Ops songs — “Not Ready to Die,” “Carry On” and “Jade Helm” — and a new track recorded for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 game.

Shadows describes the new song as “dark and brooding.” You’ll be able to hear it when Black Ops 4 arrives October 12.

Also in the interview, Shadows — who’s spent the summer recovering from damaged vocal cords — says that he plans to spend the rest of the year working on Avenged Sevenfold’s next album, the follow-up to 2016’s The Stage.

“For me, i want to spend a lot of time writing the next album and planning for the future release,” he says. “It’s all that’s on my mind at the moment.”
