Apparently people were missing the Knot something fierce, as the video set a new personal record for the masked metallers. In its first 24 hours of existence, the “All Out Life” video racked up a total of 3.4 million views, the most for any Slipknot video in a single day.
The record for most views in 24 hours for a music video belongs to K-pop superstars BTS, who amassed more than 45 million views in one day with their video for “Idol.” So while Slipknot are certainly very popular, they’re not quite BTS popular.
“All My Life” is the first new Slipknot song to follow their 2014 album, .5: The Gray Chapter. The band has been working on a new album, which is due out in 2019.
