On his Instagram, frontman Corey Taylor shared a photo from a recording studio with a bunch of equipment behind him. “Guess what we’re doin…?” Taylor wrote in the caption.
Taylor said in November that the masked metallers had planned to hit the studio in January, so it’s good to know they’re sticking to their timeline. As for when you’ll get to hear the music, Taylor said the album should arrive mid-2019.
The currently untitled album is the follow-up to 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter. It’ll feature the new single “All Out Life.”
