ABC/Randy HolmesChester Bennington‘s pre-Linkin Park band Grey Daze has recruited the late musician’s son Jaime for a new project.
In a Facebook post, Grey Daze reveals that they and Jaime, 22, recently hit the studio to re-record some of the band’s earlier material.
“Chester would have been so very proud of his son Jaime Bennington,” the post reads. “We had Jaime sing along with his father…and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it.”
Grey Daze has also been working with Korn guitarists Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” Shaffer on the project, the full details of which have yet to be announced.
Chester sang in Grey Daze from their formation in 1993 to 1998. He then joined Linkin Park in 1999.
