Credit: Jimmy FontaineGrandson has released a new song called “Apologize.” The defiant, uplifting track is available now via digital outlets.

In a tweet about the song, grandson writes, “So much of my music up to this point has been about reclaiming power, but this feels like the first truly uplifting interpretation of that theme.”

He adds that he wrote “Apologize” for his fan-base, aka “grandkids,” to be an “anthem to tell the world we will not apologize for who we are.”

“Apologize” follows grandson’s 2018 EP A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 1, which features the single “Blood//Water.” He’ll release a new EP, A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 2, on February 22.
