Listen to new The Damned Things song, “Something Good”

Nuclear BlastThe Damned Things, featuring members of Fall Out Boy, Anthrax, Every Time I Die, and Alkaline Trio, have released a new song called “Something Good.” The ripping tune is available now for digital download.

“‘Something Good’ is a feel-good song about feeling bad,” says vocalist Keith Buckley. “It’s about hurting people you care about because it is not in your nature to do the right thing even when you want to. A dark moral story with a really sunny feel.”

The track will appear on The Damned Things’ upcoming sophomore album High Crimes. The long-awaited follow-up to 2010’s Ironiclast is due out April 26.

Along with Every Time I Die’s Buckley, The Damned Things also includes Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley, Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Alkaline Trio’s Dan Andriano. The group will launch a headlining tour in support of their new album May 1 in Los Angeles.
