In a tweet Thursday, the Las Vegas metallers revealed that they’ve kicked off the first day of recording their next album. The tweet’s accompanied by a video featuring frontman Ivan Moody, guitarist Zoltan Bathory and longtime Five Finger producer Kevin Churko working together.
“What kind of record should we make?” the band wrote alongside the video. “Acoustic Death Metal…Polka Djent Fusion..Doom Funk Dubstep?”
Judging by the brief snippet of music included in the video, FFDP will be sticking with the heavy metal that they’re known for.
Five Finger’s most recent album is 2018’s And Justice for None, which features the singles “Sham Pain,” “When the Seasons Change” and a cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd‘s “Blue on Black.”
