Credit: Hristo ShindovNew Years Day has announced a new, career-spanning box set collecting the band’s catalog on vinyl.
The package, titled Through the Years, includes seven discs: New Years Day’s four studio albums — 2007’s My Dear, 2013’s Victim to Villain, 2015’s Malevolence and 2019’s Unbreakable — as well as three EPs: 2011’s The Mechanical Heart, 2014’s Epidemic and 2018’s Diary of a Creep.
Also included is a Blu-ray featuring a number of music videos, plus a batch of never-before-seen photos handpicked and captioned by front woman Ash Costello.
“I recorded New Years Day’s first album My Dear in my friend’s bedroom closet in 2005, nearly 15 years ago,” Costello says. “From then [until] now, every song recorded has been like a ripped page from that day in my personal life’s journal.”
“It’s exciting to see it all together now, like a map of our band’s career,” she continues. “I hope everyone enjoys being able to own the entire journey, and I hope it inspires the listeners to never give up on their dream.”
Through the Years will be limited to 500 pieces. It’ll be released January 24.
