The Brits in The Struts are thankful for the fans this holiday season

Walt Disney Television/Paula LoboThanksgiving may be an American holiday, but British rockers The Struts also have a lot to be thankful for. Speaking to ABC Audio, frontman Luke Spiller says he and his band mates are thankful just to be doing what they’re doing.

“It really is great to be us,” Spiller says. “Not only do we get to have, and continue to have, the greatest job in the world, but we have amazing fans that let us continue to do that.”

Spiller adds that he’s particularly thankful for the fans. After all, the fans are “the people that really make this all possible.”

“If people don’t turn up, people don’t listen to the music, nothing really happens,” Spiller says. “We’re the ones just performing and writing the tracks, but they’re actually making everything happen.”

“It’s great to see to our fan-base just constantly grow,” he adds. “And not just in the States, but all around the world.”

The Struts will close out 2019 with a New Year’s Eve show in Nashville.
