Watch Highly Suspect’s supernatural “16” video

300 EntertainmentHighly Suspect has premiered the video for “16,” the lead single from the band’s new album, MCID.

The clip, streaming now on YouTube, seems at first to be a pretty straightforward interpretation of the song, which is about frontman Johnny Stevens learning that his girlfriend’s baby isn’t his. However, the end of the video comes with a supernatural twist.

“I’m known for having a lot to say about things, sometimes too much,” says Stevens. “This time I’m just gonna let the film and song do the talking for me. I already laid out as much pain as I can bare, no more words.”

“16,” which doesn’t feature any guitars, is currently the number-one single on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

MCID, the follow-up to 2016’s The Boy Who Died Wolf, is out now. It features collaborations with Nothing But Thieves, Gojira and rapper Young Thug.
